Discount codes, no detour

Create the calendar
A name, a start date and the number of doors. Nothing else is needed to begin.
Fill the doors
Title, text, image, discount code and link. The preview beside the form shows what the customer will see while you are still typing.
Add the block
In the theme editor, click “Add block” and pick Sparkflow. No snippets to copy, no edits to your theme files.
Doors start opening
One a day from the start date. Anything not due yet stays shut. Preview mode shows every door open, and only to you.

The Season Pass is a one-time payment and stays active for 120 days, built for the fourth quarter. Pro Monthly and Pro Annual run all year and can be cancelled at any time. Billing goes through Shopify, on the same invoice as your store.
Common questions
- Do I have to edit my theme code?
- No. Sparkflow is a theme app block. In the theme editor, click “Add block”, choose Sparkflow, and that is it. Uninstalling leaves no leftover code in your theme.
- When exactly do the doors open?
- One a day from the start date you set in the admin. Anything not due yet stays closed. A preview mode shows every door open so you can check the whole calendar.
- Can I shuffle the order of the numbers?
- Yes. Doors can be reordered by drag and drop or with the arrows, and the number travels with the door. The digits end up scattered, just like a cardboard calendar.
- Where do the discount codes come from?
- Sparkflow creates them in your store through the Shopify Admin API. They appear alongside every other code and can be edited or deleted there. From Season Pass up.
- Which language does the calendar use in my store?
- The built-in storefront text follows your store's language, and German and English are both included. Your own door texts you write yourself anyway.
- Does it work on phones?
- Yes, the grid is built from the small width up. Anyone who has asked their system for less motion gets the calendar and the snow without animation.
- What happens after the 120 days of the Season Pass?
- Your calendars stay where they are, the premium features go quiet and the store falls back to the Free scope. A new Season Pass or a Pro plan turns them on again.
- Can I use my own HTML and CSS?
- Yes. Every door accepts custom HTML, which is filtered before output. Custom CSS is scoped to the Sparkflow block automatically so it cannot overwrite your theme. From Season Pass up.
Three things that are easy to miss
- Custom HTML, safely filtered
- Every door accepts custom HTML. Before it is rendered it passes a filter that strips scripts and event attributes. Your calendar may style things, but it cannot run anything.
- Custom CSS, scoped to the block
- Rules you write get the block's identifier prefixed automatically, inside @media and @supports as well. The rest of your theme is left alone. From Season Pass up.
- Background, full width, snow
- Your own background image, a layout across the full width and a snow animation that switches itself off as soon as someone asks their system for less motion.
